MyFinance Privacy Policy

Information stored on your device

MyFinance stores the financial information you choose to enter, including accounts, account names, balances, expenses, income, transfers, transaction notes, categories, budgets, fixed payments, settings, and locally generated backups.

This information is stored locally on your device using SQLite. MyFinance does not provide user accounts, cloud synchronization, server-based backups, or a remote financial database.

CodeZero Interactive does not receive or maintain a server-side copy of your financial records.

Receipts and on-device text recognition

When you choose a receipt or transfer image, MyFinance accesses the selected image only to perform the feature you requested.

Text recognition is performed on your device through the installed OCR component. Receipt images and recognized text are not uploaded to a MyFinance server.

MyFinance does not access other photos or media unless you explicitly select them.

Currency conversion

When you explicitly request a transfer between accounts that use different currencies, MyFinance may request an exchange rate from the Frankfurter public exchange-rate service.

The request sent by MyFinance contains only the selected currency codes required to obtain the exchange rate. MyFinance does not intentionally send your financial records, account names, balances, transaction notes, receipt images, recognized receipt text, or transaction history with this request.

Frankfurter's public service uses third-party internet infrastructure, including Cloudflare. As with other internet requests, this infrastructure may receive basic technical and network information needed to process and protect the request.

Exchange rates may be cached locally on your device for up to 24 hours.

Exchange rates are provided for informational and organizational purposes and may differ from rates offered by banks, card issuers, payment providers, or currency-exchange services.

Permissions

MyFinance may request access to photos or media only when you choose to select a receipt or transfer image.

You may deny this permission and continue using manual financial-entry features. MyFinance does not require continuous or background access to your photos or media.

Security

If you enable the optional application PIN, the PIN credential is stored using the device's secure storage facilities.

The PIN helps restrict access through the MyFinance application interface. It does not replace your device password, operating-system security, or other device-level protections.

You are responsible for protecting your device and any backups or exports you create.

Data retention and deletion

Financial records stored by MyFinance remain on your device until you delete them through the application, clear the application's data, or uninstall the application.

Because MyFinance does not maintain a remote financial database or user account, CodeZero Interactive cannot remotely access, recover, or delete your locally stored records.

Backups and CSV exports remain in the location where you saved or shared them until you delete them yourself.

Deleting the application, clearing its data, resetting your device, or restoring an incompatible backup may permanently remove locally stored records.

Data sharing and sale

MyFinance does not sell, rent, or use your financial records for advertising.

MyFinance does not include advertising SDKs or analytics SDKs designed to collect your financial records.

MyFinance does not share your accounts, balances, transactions, receipt images, recognized text, budgets, or financial summaries with CodeZero Interactive or advertising companies.

Backups and exports

Backups and CSV exports are created only when you explicitly request them.

You choose where these files are saved, shared, copied, or deleted. Exported files may contain financial information, so you should protect them appropriately.

Once you share a backup or export with another application, person, storage provider, or service, MyFinance and CodeZero Interactive cannot control how that recipient handles the file.

Children

MyFinance is intended for adults and is not directed to children.

MyFinance does not knowingly collect personal information from children through a CodeZero Interactive server.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when MyFinance features, technical implementations, third-party services, or applicable legal requirements change.

The latest version will be published at the official Privacy Policy address, and the "Last updated" date will be revised.
